PHYTOGRAINES CAMEROUN SARL​

It is under the name Chimac that the company was founded in 1945 and is, at this time, one of the first Belgian company specialized in the production and trade of pesticides. Today, Agriphar SA and Chimac SA build up the  Chimac-Agriphar group that was founded in the 80s.

 

Agriphar SA produces total and selective herbicides in different formulations for crops in temperate and tropical areas such as tomatoes, wheat, potato, soybean, onion, cotton; fungicides, insecticides, growth regulators and biocides for the protection of farmed animals.

 

With its ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, the group Agriphar certifies his respect for the regulations concerning the quality, safety and respect for the environment.

 

     ISO 9001  

Throughout the production chain, control units watch over the quality of the raw materials, the formulated products and the finished products. All the samples taken at different stages of production are numbered and kept within the company. The Agriphar Group's ISO 9001 certification recognises its policy of continuous improvement.

 

     ISO 14001  

The ISO 14001 standard sets out the requirements for an Environmental Management System (EMS), which enables companies to define an environmental policy and identify ways of improving their performance in this area. The Agriphar Group's ISO 14001:2004 certification is the result of continuous efforts and investments in the amelioration of production systems and procedures. It underlines company's will to take up environmental responsibility.

 

Agriphar SA is also very active in the research and development of new molecules. It is at the origin of substances such as Dodine (fungicide), cypermethrin (insecticide) and triclopyr acid (plant growth). With a turnover of around 100 million euro, Agriphar group is a stable company; 95% of its annual production is exported to over 130 countries. These excellent results have allowed the group to be awarded several times. In 2006, he found himself received from the hands of his Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium, the prestigious «Grand Prix Wallonie à l’Exportation». For over twenty years, Agriphar SA and Phytograines Cameroun SARL work productively to satisfy their customers in Cameroon and in the area of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa.
