Foliar Fertilization
Foliar fertilization is particularly useful after times of stress (transplantation, hail, high winds, cold, heat, drought) during the vegetative phase when the plant needs are high, or in case of severe deficiency of one or several nutrients.
It also plays a preventive role and acts as a "boost" to the growth of vegetation. Foliar fertilizers have several advantages.
